Set in a fantasy world, a young woman who had been taken from her family as a young teen and forced into prostitution finally escapes her captors. Injured and disoriented, she collapses in an alleyway and is found by a mercenary-turned-paladin who takes her to his parish to be healed. After the church decides to take her in, she struggles with crippling self-worth issues but slowly heals as she grows closer to the parish residents. Though there are many trials that she and the residents must endure, there is hope that despite everything that happened to her, she is still worthy of love and family.
