A young woman is looking for love. She goes to a matchmaker (who’s secretly a reformed half-incubus) and goes on 13 dates with men who turn out to be supernatural creatures. For example, she dates a ghost and things end up not working out because she accidentally fulfills his last wish and makes him able to pass on. Her date with a vampire doesn’t work out because she’s Italian Catholic. After each date/relationship fails she discusses what happened with the matchmaker. The two gradually form a friendship and then a mutual attraction. She eventually discovers that he’s half-incubus. The woman goes on her 13th date and the guy is a human and seems perfect for her. However, the woman realizes she’s in love with the matchmaker and asks him on a date instead.
