There once was a man who was very cowardly. He’s in love with a woman and she loves him back, however, because he refuses to commit to marrying her, she refuses his advances. One day, a great peril comes upon the land. Seven demons based on different phobias have arisen to terrorize the land. A seer arrives in town and declares that the man is destined to conquer these evils. The man is horrified, but is eventually left with no choice but to go.

While on his journey he has many encounters and gains companions. As they conquer the demons and their phobias, he steadly becomes braver and questions his former mindset. The final demon is a creature that forsakes his oaths and abandons others.

After the demon is defeated, the man is given two magical rings that used to belong to the demon. Rings that bind two people together forever. With the rings in hand, the man decides to face his gamophobia and marry the woman he loves.
