Backstory: Lyra and her best friend dreamed of becoming a famous music duo and auditioned for a popular singing show. Despite their youth, they were successful week after week. However, her best friend contracted an illness that ruined her singing voice. Lyra was made to continue competing without her, but her illness combined with mental health issues resulted in her friend taking her own life. Lyra dropped out of the competition and was going to give up singing, upset at her inability to reach and rescue the heart of her friend, when Dinari gave her the ability to touch the hearts of anyone who heard her. Lyra returned for the finale of the show and sang a tribute to her friend that stole the show and earned her a singing contract.
