Inspired by the anime Do You Love Your Mom and Her Two-Hit Multi-Target Attacks? because sometimes a piece of media is so disappointing that it inspires you to take its concept and try to make it better. Honestly, its concept had so much potential but its only purpose was to be a low-quality isekai that rode the wave of the genre’s popularity and pander to people with mom fetishes.
A mother and son are transported into another world by a scientist along with many other families after a catastrophic, world-ending event occurred. Now in the computer-generated fantasy world, the son desires to become a hero. The mother, worried about him and seeking to rebuild their broken relationship becomes a warrior as well. The story is about the estranged mother and son struggling to rebuild their relationship and the mother rediscovering her own desires and interests after giving them up to provide for her son.
Beginning Scene: It’s an average day. The story hones in on a mother and a son. The two are eating together in silence. The son is avoiding eye contact by reading a paper on the table. She talks about how she finally has a day off and if he would like to go out and do something. He says no, he’s busy without looking at her. She looks sad but says okay, another time and gets up to clean her dishes. As she stands by the window, there’s suddenly a flash of light and loud screeching sound from outside. Both she and her son look outside but in a moment, they suddenly blip out of existence. This is before the room is enveloped in light and seemingly ripped to shreds.
*For those not familiar with the anime fan community and its lingo, Isekai is Japanese for “another world”. It’s a genre of (usually) fantasy anime where one or more characters are transported from their normal lives into a fantasy world. Isekai’d is a western verbalization of the word to explain the action of being sent to another world.
