I came down through the newly created heavens to the planet I had made. As I step foot on it, I couldn’t help but feel proud as I looked around me.

‘I made all of this,’ I thought to myself.

Above my head was a stygian sky filled with the little lights she had put in it. The ground below me was soft and slightly warm under my bare feet. Not too far away from her was a gurgling brook.

‘Now to make life,’ I thought.

I summoned the four elements to me. I took Earth into my hand and began to mold it.

The first I based off of myself. I gave the first mound a small jaw, round breasts, and wide hips. I decided to experiment a bit with the form of the second one. It was bigger than the other mound, with a square jaw and squarish body.

‘Male, Female….They’ll be…..Human.’

I took the water element and made it the blood of my “humans”.

‘I have no idea what I’m doing, but I think it’s something good!’

I took fire and placed it into the chests of both her humans. The fire would be their capacity for life as well as their ability to create and destroy. Finally, I placed my lips to where the male human’s mouth was and breathed air into the man’s lungs. As I sat back she watched as the human took a few breaths before opening his eyes and sitting up. He turned to me with amazed curiosity.

I smiled and brushed the hair out of his face. “Hello, my name is Dótis Zoís. Happy birthday.”
