Of Shades and Primaries:

A collection of poems I made back when I had a fixation on colors and the personalities and meanings associated with them

Orange

I am one of the Secondaries

Excuse me if I shout, but I just hope my message carries!

Why do you have such a large frown?

Allow me to turn it upside down!

Let’s do something spontaneous!

I can pick out a thousand adventures for us within our radius!

Oh! I bet all of the other colors would want to join!

Or maybe I’ll cook for you. How about a juicy sirloin?

You’re being very quiet. There’s no need to hold back

How about some pancakes? I can make them stack for stack

Come on, I won’t give up yet!

Do you need exercise? Fresh air? Or maybe a pet?

Gasp! Maybe we should throw a party!

With food and music and guest so hearty

What about cleaning? Please, that’s no fun!

Eventually it will be done by someone

I’ll order the pizza. What? A fifteen minute wait?!

That’s much too long! I want the pizza in eight!

The Jack-o-lanterns on Halloween that glow next to my door hinge

Wazzup, I’m ORANGE
