Of Shades and Primaries: Blue

A collection of poems I made back when I had a fixation on colors and the personalities and meanings associated with them

Blue

I’m one of the Primaries

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with the Secondaries

I’m the responsible one so by default I’m often made the leader

Though to be honest, I’m more of a quiet reader

Here, sit back and relax

I’m sure you’ll enjoy our conversation, I am by no means bereft of comebacks

My this place is messy, I prefer a bit more order

There’s tranquility and less stress with even borders

People say I’m wise, I must say I do consider myself quite the teacher

My wisdom comes from spiritual study so I guess you could say that I’m also a preacher

I’ll be your friend when you’re in need

So I’ll trust you, and we’ll be friends indeed

In all honesty, I’m a bit rigged when it comes to my ideals

Getting me to change my mind is often quite the ordeal

Perhaps I should learn to be more liberal

My, how flawed it is to be corporal!

Oh how I long for the days when things were simpler

Oh pardon me, I must be boring you, Listener

The azure skies and deep oceans too

Greetings, my name is BLUE
