The main character’s high school volleyball team sucks and they know it. This year they have new coaches who try to turn that around, one male, one female. However, they’ve still only scored 1 win after multiple games. During a home game, there’s something suspicious about their opponents. Nobody notices at first until blood starts bubbling up from one of the bleachers and written hand begin to reach out for the students. The main character jumps off the bleachers after being warned by a male upperclassman. As she grabs her stuff and runs off the bleachers she bumps into a person from the other school who turns out to be a zombie! Looking at the opposing volleyball team, they’re all zombies!
The Zombie principle shows up and forces the school into a deadly wager. If our volleyball team cannot defeat the zombie volleyball team at the end of the season, everyone in school will become prey for his school. Mr. Riza has no choice but to comply. And each time we lose, one of our teammates or nearby schoolmates will be killed.
The news spreads around school quickly and the girls begin to work harder to get better, however, despite their efforts, some of them die, including Marielle who sacrifices herself for her sister Maricarmen and Tamara, the main character’s friend. The zombies force a random selection of students and family members to go to the game.
The PE teachers change the curriculum to prepare students to combat the zombies in secret. In the final game, the volleyball girls lose due to last minute cheating. The whole school is horrified, but the rival school is ecstatic, they begin their charge but when they do, the home school is ready. Weapons come out and the fun begins.
I found this in a Google Doc from high school and after reading it, I actually really want to write this one day.
